Ella Langley Is Reuniting With Koe Wetzel for a New Collab: Recording ‘Another Song Together Is Special’
...
Ella Langley already has a hit collab dominating the charts with her Morgan Wallen duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore” (in addition to multiple solo hits such as “Choosin’ Texas”), but she and Koe Wetzel are set to give fans even more music to dive into.
On Friday (Aug. 7), she will reunite with Wetzel for another collaboration, this one titled “Jaded.” The new track was written by Wetzel, Langley, Jordan Schmidt and ERNEST.
Wetzel and Langley previously teamed up for the collab “That’s Why We Fight,” which was certified Gold by the Recording Industry of America and was the lead single from Langley’s 2023 Excuse the Mess EP. In 2024, Wetzel also earned a No. 1 Country Airplay hit with a different duet, a collab with Jessie Murph on “High Road,” and teamed with Corey Kent on the Country Airplay top 5 hit “Rocky Mountain Low.”
“Koe and I have known each other and been friends for a long time,” Langley said in a statement. “He was one of the first artists I ever got to collaborate with and one of the first I went out on the road with back in 2022. Getting to write and record another song together is special.”
“Ella’s been one of my favorite people to write and sing with for a long time,” Wetzel added in a statement. “We recorded ‘That’s Why We Fight’ early on in both of our careers, and getting back in a room together was something we talked about every time we saw each other. When she sings, you believe it and I’m excited we could get this one out there to the fans.”
He is currently on his headlining The NIght Champion World tour, visiting cities in the U.S., Canada and Australia, while Langley is spearheading her arena-headlining The Dandelion Tour.
